Is there an issue with the LAN and WAN being in the same network?

Hello,

If IP Address of Flexy LAN and WAN will be same network.
What will be happen?

Firstly, IP Address of Flexy LAN is configured 192.168.1.101. (ex PLC IP address 192.168.1.2)
And then IP Address of Flexy WAN will configure static type to 192.168.1.114.
(I have received the IP address from customer)

My Flexy is hang during a configuration.

Thank you.

This is actually not going to work. By configuring both networks in the same network you are creating a network conflict.

One of the few requirements for using an eWON are two very distinct networks. At its heart the eWON is a router and in order for remote access and internet access to function properly we must have two networks to route between.

There are quite a few threads on hms.how that cover this issue as well. In a nutshell however it will not work. Additionally, I would highly recommend not using 192.168.1.X/24 on the LAN network. That network is the worlds most commonly used network. By using that address on the eWON LAN you not only set yourself up for a conflict between the LAN and WAN networks but when connecting remotely you have a higher chance of an eCatcher level conflict.
